Siyuan and Sihuai

At breakfast, siyuan came over to where I was sitting and noticed my white hair. He said: papa you have lots of white hair. You worry too much!

Lux took the kids to disneyland during easter break. Siyuan consumed three of the chiro sticks. And was happy to pose with them. Hes going through this phase when hes reluctant to be caught on camera.

We paid for some skating classes during the one week easter break. As usual siyuan rushed through it all. More running than skating. Sihuai clung to her children.

Colder than expected winter and a spring that took forever to arrive. Foggy!

They sure start them early here or now. Siyuan went for his first school camp at primary two. He spent a nite in school, with a day trip to a farm. He was excited about it from the day he was told. Closee to date, he kept reminding us so we wont forget to pay the school. Now if only he is as attentive to what homework he needs to do. There were lots to pack for one night, with Lux wondering why he needed so many change of clothes as requested by the school. This was the first time he was away from us for a night! The night before I was a little worried but also remarked to Lux how quiet the place is with just one kid. We were also concerned because he does sleepwalk. It all went well. On the night back, he said it was more comfortable in his bed. ♥

Overhearing Lux and me talking, as I wondered how we are going to finish a chocolate cake Lux had baked, Sihuai said: Dont worry, chocolate cake. We will finish you!

The things sihuai would say If you dont bring me to the playground, I will be grumpy!

We had a weekend break in macau cotao strip. Given that it was a rainy weekend, wasnt a bad idea. We were in this huge shopping mall linking up the hotels operated by sands china. Lots of chinese tourists/gamblers. Food was so-so. Lots of stores with space you seldom see in hk. Much brighter colors as well, giving the lie to hk retailers who insist on stocking dark hue cloth3s because they claim the chinese like that. The ice exhibition was a disappointment this year with less to do. Though they added colors to the sculptures.

Taking siyuan down to his school bus on friday, and he turned around with a grin on his face, saying: tomorrow is the weekend!

Ah, moment to remind myself of the greenery in sp. And also to see again the weight loss this past year.

This has to be sihuai best sp trip, with relatives doting over her and gifts received. At 4, she is also old enough to understand most of what is happening. She didnt want to say goodbye to hwee hwee at the airport and burst into tears after we cleared immigration.

The singapore airport is fun! Slides, playground and sketching. :)

First time visiting the river safari, with my brother accompanying us. The kids were excited about the boat ride, with sihuai wanting to do it again. We were fortunate to catch both pandas having lunch. Then it was madness at the zoo water playground again.

Back in singapore for chinese new year. The first one without my dad. Lots of family gathering. The kids ignore all attempts over homework, but had a really good time. Heres them having fun at the excerise area at my moms place. They had more fun than at the playground.

Went to tai tong lychee farm with an old classmate of siyuan. Chilly for hk dec. It took us about 90 mins to get there via train and cab. The farm is nestled in front of a mt. Beautiful blue skies and greenery all around. There was a rope structure for the kids, animals to feed and horse to ride. And decent lunch as well.

While there the kids get to feed carrots to rabbits, goats and horses. There was even a horse which was in a chow yun fatt movie as well as a couple of chinese serials. Heres lux feeding the horse.
