but it was really quite hot that day, so he took breaks in the shelter as well. He's pretty aware of the elements. On these hot days, u can't walk out for more than 10 minutes without been drenched in sweat and looking like a cooked lobster. HK parents, the well-off one, can be quite picky and demanding. I've heard comments about why SIyuan looked so sweaty. Also seen a mother heckle her son on why he's not doing better at the monkey bar. What should be fun has become a task for the poor kid, who resorted to faking stomach pain to avoid doing the bar. Then i've seen old folks scold another kid for not climbing as well as Siyuan. Its pretty competitive out there!
On the other hand, there are normal people, who run around playing catching with their kids :)

Chinese New Year! We dressed him in a Kung-fu set of clothes bought last year :) We spent most of CNY unpacking though and just resting.

Baking his cookies

The kids always get excited whenever Lux decides to bake cakes, cookies and bread, which is often. Sometimes they help. In this case, Siyuan made the cookies more or less by himself. He brought it to school and shared with his friends 😀

He Finally Pooed!

We woke up this morning, resigned to another day of smelly farts and worries about his pooing. We checked at a pharmacy the previous night, and they decided he was really too young to have anything to help with that. And then this morning, after a kickabout with me, he finally pooed. Not a lot, like he used to. But at least it was something. We were both quite happy. Unfortunately, his smelly farts continue! maybe i can persuade dear wife to have more greenies :)
